Rocksteady founder Sefton Hill today tweeted out the studios decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League until Spring 2023 to "make the best game we can"
The decision will likely go down like a lead balloon with fans after the box office success of The Batman. However, if the past couple of years have taught us anything it’s that delays are better than crunching to rush a game onto shelves, a sentiment fans shared in the replies to Sefton:
Some other fans were a little less understanding, airing complaints that Rocksteady haven’t released a title since Arkham Knight in 2015. Time will tell what this means for the game and although DC fans may be disappointed, Gotham Knights is still on track for an October release at WB Montreal, so we should all still get the chance to scratch that superhero itch in 2022.
