Rockstar reveal all Districts in GTAVI

Rockstar shared the 6 districts, in postcard format, on their website

After dropping the second GTA VI trailer out of nowhere last week, Rockstar went on to reveal the six districts that make up Leonida on their website.

While half of these districts can be seen across the two trailers, the postcards shared on their website gave us a closer look at each district as well as a little bit of background on each area. We are going to cover each of them below:

  1. Vice City

Predictably, the first district revealed on the website was Vice City. While acknowledging that we aren't in the 80's anymore, the postcard insists that the city is still the "sun and fun capital of the America". The postcard emphasizes how each neighborhood has something to offer, from "pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach to the bustling panaderias of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC port, the cruise ship capital of the world". Being based on Miami beach, this district promises to be the hub for all nightlife in Leonida and likely where Jason and Lucia first start to run into trouble.

  1. Leonida Keys

The next area revealed on the website, and where the second trailer begins, is the Leonida Keys. Clearly based on the Florida Keys, this will be the costal area of Leonida and by the looks of things, where Jason Duvall will be living when we kick off the game. Known to be one of "the most beautiful and most dangerous waters in all of America", this is likely going to be part retirement home part local criminal element hijacking any big boats they can get their hands on.

  1. Grassrivers

The next location up is the Everglades inspired Grassrivers. Rockstar emphasizes that while "gators may be the most famous attraction, but their are far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries among the mangroves". This is perhaps the area I am most looking forward to getting my hands on: crazy native wildlife, skiting along the water in airboats, tossing some poor victims into the swamps, truly endless sandbox fun to be had here.

  1. Port Gellhorn

The forth district has been labeled the "forgotten coast" of Leonida. Signs of run down industry like cheap motels and abandoned motels litter the streets paving the way for a new industry to spring up in its place. This is "fueled by malt liquor, pain killers and truck stop energy drinks" which further suggests that the new it could be less than legal, which mans Jason and Lucia will probably get their hands on it sooner or later.

  1. Ambrosia

Ambrosia is situated in the heart of Leonida and as such is the beating heart of it's industrial sector, complete with factories and smoke plumes galore. Home to the biggest job provides in the state in the shape of the Allied Crystal Sugar refiner and the local biker gang who we will no doubt have a run in with at some stage of the games' runtime.

  2. Mount Kalaga

The final district Rockstar revealed, far from the hustle bustle of Vice City is the national park of Mount Kalaga. A "national landmark" that is a prime spot for fishing, hunting and checks notes conspiracy theories as the more eccentric people of Leonida chose to live here away from the "prying eyes of the government". This description alone gives it Mt Chiliad vibes, and if there as half as many UFOs here, I can't wait to visit.
