After the success of Village, Capcom decide to polish up the hit remakes of R.E 2&3 as well as the 7th instalment in the series
In the wake of the success of the latest installment of the zombie classics, Capcom announced planned upgrades for 2, 3 and 7 on their website.
While the ground up remakes of Leon & Jill’s nightmare escape from Racoon city will have fans buzzing it’s the already visceral first person experience that released in 2017 may be the one worth getting most excited about.
Each title will get ray tracing added, performance modes for higher frame rates and 3-D audio to really crank up the dread on Mr.X’s thunderous footsteps. Xbox players will get the addition of smart delivery with PS5 players getting adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
Now, while 2&3 are timeless classics, the upgrade in realism to what is still one of the best VR titles we have seen in Biohazard has me really excited to get chased by my crazy girlfriend with a chainsaw all over again. While no official release date has been announced Capcom has confirmed the upgrades will be free to players who already own the game, so it is for sure an upgrade worth sinking your teeth into!
