Red Dead Redemption is coming to PC

John Marston set to ride onto PC's on October 24th this year

Rockstar announce that the critically acclaimed western sandbox will come to PCs later this month on their YouTube channel.

The port comes with the Undead DLC included along with a host of graphical enhancements that are exclusive to PC. Buried in the description of the release trailer Rockstar specified that, in collaboration with Double eleven, PC enhancements include: "native 4K resolution up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. There is also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more."

A huge amount of adjustable upgrades which, even from the trailer, clearly elevates the visuals massively, making PC version arguably the new definitive way to play the game. This along with the inevitable mods to come in the future make this re-release a huge win for PC players and fans of the Red Dead titles in general.
