Pikachu used Brick Break

The Pokémon company and Lego have both revealed an upcoming collaboration today slated to rollout in 2026.
Both companies posted a short teaser on their X profiles which shows a Pikachu tail being assembled brick by brick before shocking each logo into life. While the teaser revealed very little, the accompanying tweet urged us to "get ready to electrify your imagination in 2026", confirming a release is coming at some point next year.
While the tweet was economic, both companies had a little more to say in a statement released on the Lego website. Julia Golden, Chief Product and Marketing officer at Lego Group said: "We are thrilled to be working with a brand that has such a deep and passionate fanbase as Pokémon, partnering to give our joint audiences what they have been asking us for. We strongly believe that through the endless possibilities of LEGO play and the exciting adventures the world of Pokémon brings, this partnership will create a range of new possibilities for Trainers and builders alike."
Over at Pokémon, Gaku Sasai, Chief Product and Experience officer added: "The LEGO Group and Pokémon have strong shared values of imagination, creativity and fun, making this the perfect partnership to deliver unique, meaningful and engaging ways for Trainers to experience the Pokémon brand. Working with the best-in-class team at the LEGO Group and seeing their dedication and passion for the project has culminated in an innovative and ground breaking collaboration that will surprise and delight fans. We cannot wait to see both LEGO fans and the Pokémon community’s reactions in 2026".
No names of actual Pokémon to expect in the 2026 collab were revealed. However, at the end of the joint statement Lego emphasised that they " will be bringing the most loved Pokémon to life in a brand-new way". In other words be prepared for a Pikachu and Charizard at the very least along with a dent in your wallet.
