Mega Dragonite led a host of new details revealed about the newest Generation
The official Pokémon YouTube channel dropped a full 4 minute peak at the upcoming Pokémon Z-A today. The trailer gave us in depth details about what to expect from the upcoming title. This instalment takes place in Lumiose, a sprawling city where Pokemon and people are trying to live in harmony.
You are a new recruit of Team MZ, comprising of Urbain/Taunie (depending on whether you're a boy or a girl) Naveen and Lida, who's main objective is to protect the city. Well, you are up against this Gen's team Rocket: The Rust Syndicate who's leader has a history with Team MZ as well as rampaging Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
The city will have plenty of activities away from you're 9-5, with day and night cycles massively effecting what you can get up to. During the day wild pokemon roam, allowing you to add to your collection whereas at night you compete against other trainers in the Z-A royale in what looks like this games take on Gym Leaders.
We also get the return of side quests, a popular addition in Arceus, along with full outfit customisation for your character and specific Pokémon which will come in handy when trying to look your best using the new photography features.
The game is set to release on Switch 1&2 on October 16th 2025.
