Bethesda and Machine Games announce that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will come to PS5 and pencil it in for a 9th of December release on Xbox

Bethesda gave Indiana Jones a 9th of December release date at Gamescom opening night along with the surprise announcement that it will also come to PS5 in Spring next year.

The shock announcement comes after the game had been marketed as an Xbox exclusive up to this point, with some fans unhappy that it will be available on multiple platforms. Phil Spencer was asked about the decision to bring the title to PlayStation by Xbox On to which he replied: "the end result has to be better games, that more people can play" after stating that he "learned" from releasing games like Hi-Fi Rush to other platforms in Spring.

The trailer itself gave us a brand new extended look behind the scenes along with fresh gameplay narrated by the voice of Indi: Troy Baker himself. We got a glimpse at some combat, shooting, explorable areas and Indi's journal that he continues to update throughout your adventures. The game is shaping up nicely and the 9th of December can't come soon enough.
