Ambitious survival MMO Dune: Awakening finally gets a release date

Funcom also release character creator on the day of announcement

Funcom has announced that their highly anticipated MMO, Dune: Awakening will come to PCs via Steam on May 20th this year. Fans who pre-order the game will also be given the Terrararium of Mua'dib' as a decoration for their bases at launch.

A release date for consoles has yet to be revealed but Funcom did tell fans that this would come after the PC release, which they are currently prioritising. The release date was also followed by the immediate release of the character creator, letting players get a jump on creating their own worm-rider.
