On the first title's 10th anniversary, Creative Director Al Hope confirms a sequel is in the works on X
Sega and Creative assembly confirm a sequel to the beloved Alien Isolation is in the works this weeks in a message to fans posted on X.
Creative Director of the first title, Al Hope, reminisces on the staggering ten years that have passed since the release of the first title stating that the reception given to the game by fans "over the years is extraordinary". This simple thank you message took a turn that fans have been dreaming of towards the end though as the studio announced a a sequel to the title is in "early development", stating that more details will be shared "when we are ready".
Whether this is on the back of the staggering success of the latest instalment in the movie franchise: Alien Romulus, remains to be seen. However, the game itself was a success in its own right, with the first title winning PC Gamer's game of the year for 2014 and a British Academy award for Audio Achievement.
