Reigns was teased as the cover star
2K games and WWE announce upcoming WWE 2K25 during Raw's historic debut on Netflix. The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and his Wise man Paul Heyman are seen walking backstage after his victory talking about the "platform" that he needs to emphasise his greatness before disappearing into a room with a WWE 2K25 plaque on the door.
This has prompted speculation online that Reigns will be the new cover star, succeeding his rival Cody Rhodes. However, 2K had more in store as they released an exclusive first look on Instagram. The posts gave us a first look at Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Damian Priest and Bayley in game as well as confirming the game will be on Xbox One, Series X/S and PS4/5.
One thing the announcement left out was a release date, but the games' listing on steam did reveal that more details will come on January 28 which could include a concrete release date or even a peak at the gameplay itself.
